The Story of We the People, the National Constitution Center’s main exhibit, guides visitors through milestones in America’s history and reveals how the U.S. Constitution is as important today as it was in 1787. Interactive elements allow visitors to experience the many ways the Constitution is written into our lives as citizens. From handling the books that inspired the founders, to stepping inside a voting booth, taking the presidential oath of office, or serving on a paneled jury, learn about our nation’s ever-evolving story of “We the People.”, the National Constitution Center’s main exhibit, guides visitors through milestones in America’s history and reveals how the U.S. Constitution is as important today as it was in 1787. Engage with interactive touchscreens at the American National Tree to learn about 100 citizens who have shaped America’s constitutional history and watch yourself on the big screen as you recite the presidential oath of office.
