Daily Programs at the National Constitution Center
Our staff and volunteers are ready to enhance your visit to the Center with educational programs and activities designed to bring constitutional topics to life. These programs are free with museum admission and do not require advanced registration, but will vary daily, so visitors are encouraged to pick up a copy of our daily program guide upon arrival for that day’s offerings.

Freedom Rising Theater Show
First Floor; Sidney Kimmel Theater

Set the stage for your National Constitution Center experience with this 360-degree live theatrical production that tells the story of the United States Constitution and the American quest for freedom.
Artifact Spotlight: AKA Sorority Suffrage Letter
First Floor, 19th Amendment Exhibit; 11:45 a.m.
Learn about the first Black sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, founded at Howard University in 1908, and their fight for equal rights. This program looks at a letter from the sorority’s founder and incorporator, Nellie M. Quander, and discusses how Black women fought for equal suffrage and equal rights within the nation’s suffrage movement.
Artifact Spotlight: Suffrage Art
First Floor, 19th Amendment Exhibit; 12:45 p.m.
Join us to learn how artists Rose O’Neill and Evelyn Rumsey Cary supported the fight for women’s right to vote and changed the face of the suffrage movement through their art.
Remember the Ladies Trivia
Second Floor, Story of We the People Exhibit;

In the spirit of Abigail Adams, visitors are invited to “remember the ladies” during our women’s history trivia game. Test your knowledge of women and the Constitution during our interactive trivia game.
Votes for Women Crafts
First Floor, Grand Hall Lobby; 10 a.m.- 4 p.m.
Make your own Votes for Women flair and support the suffrage movement! Put your own twist on historical suffrage buttons, rosettes, and banners at our make-and-take craft tables.
1787 Artifact Cart
First Floor, Grand Hall Lobby; 10 a.m.- 3 p.m.
As land was cleared to build the National Constitution Center, a massive archaeological excavation occurred, unearthing thousands of artifacts from the 1700s. Using 3D printed replicas, come pick up some of these objects and learn about the everyday lives of “We the People” as the new nation developed just blocks away.

Constitutional Trivia Game
Step right up, spin the wheel, and see how well you know the Constitution! At this interactive trivia game, players can test their knowledge on topics ranging from Constitutional articles and amendments, Supreme Court cases, famous figures from history, civic holiday connections, and more.
Hands-on History Artifact Carts
Join a National Constitution Center team member and get a hands-on look at artifacts in our teaching collection. 3D-printed replicas of 18th Century objects found on the site of the NCC help visitors explore what life was like in 1787, and by examining historic voting machines visitors will learn about the role “We the People” have played in our electoral process.
Decoding the Documents - Gallery Talks
These informal in-gallery talks highlight the history and significance of objects on display throughout the National Constitution Center exhibits, featuring artifacts including the Emancipation Proclamation in Civil War and Reconstruction, the Declaration of Sentiments in The 19th Amendment: How Women Won the Vote, and the March on Washington Pennant in the First Amendment gallery.
Fun with Flags Challenge
Find your inner vexillologist at this fast-paced activity and explore the stories of the 56 state and territorial flags along the National Constitution Center’s Grand Hall Overlook.
Presidential Portrait Challenge
Stand face-to-face with the wall of presidential portraits and see how well you know these Commanders in Chief! Identify what these historic presidents have in common as well as what sets them apart.
Political Cartoons Workshop
Did you know political cartoons have been a popular form of expression for hundreds of years? In this program, a team member shares the history of the art form, including how the First Amendment has protected cartoonists’ freedom of expression.
Civic Holiday Programs
From Martin Luther King Jr. Day in January to Bill of Rights Day in December, the NCC celebrates civic holidays all year long and visitors to the museum on these days have the opportunity to participate in related programs and events.
